Opportunities for Spanish-speaking professionals–Deadline October 5

Dear Members and Collaborators,

We would like to inform you that CUSO International is in the process
of putting together a database of contacts from Spanish-speaking
professionals residing in Canada to support its recruitment process.

If you are interested in being included in this database, please
forward a brief professional profile to Pablo Pastor no later than
October 5, 2012 at the following email address:
pablo.pastor@cusointernational.org   While this does not guarantee you
a placement with CUSO International, it would help CUSO match your
skill-set and interests with particular placement needs.

CUSO International is an international development organization that
works in more than 40 countries around the world. Each year CUSO
International sends over 200 people to lend their skills and work
alongside local counterparts in NGOs, community organizations,
schools, and governments.

In addition to its general recruitment, CUSO International has a
Diaspora Volunteering Program where it recruits members of various
Diaspora groups who have the professional skills, hands-on knowledge
and the perspectives needed to work in solidarity with its partner
organizations to reduce poverty, share skills and change lives.

CUSO programs are supported by the Canadian government and donors;
this allows CUSO to cover all associated costs – from airfare and
health insurance to accommodation and a modest living allowance. More
information can be found at http://www.cusointernational.org.
